Lochlainn McKenna
Locky (A.K.A Lochlainn McKenna) is a director and writer from Cork, Ireland. He started off acting before moving into assistant directing, casting and then producing before eventually finding directing. He's mostly interested in directing work about humans and how we connect with each other. Stories about: relationships, families, heart-break, survival, courage and love. He's fascinated by time and how we choose to spend the time we’re given on this planet. After winning Best New Director at The Kinsale Sharks, he's gone on to be awarded multiple Vimeo Staff Picks, Nowness features and UKMVA nods. Most recently his short film 'Two For The Road' won Best Short Film at the Galway Film Fleadh, placing it on the long-list for the 2024 Oscars.
