Chris Thomas
Chris Thomas graduated from the University of the Creative Arts, Farnham, where he studied BA Film Production. His graduation film 'The Water's Edge' screened at numerous film festivals across the globe and picked up a selection of awards including best film at 'Festival du Cinéma Britannique'. After film school, Chris worked at the production company Smuggler where he directed commercials for clients such as the BBC, BT Sports, BBC Earth and the Silverline. Meanwhile in 2016 Chris made the film 'Cropped' a comedy about a group of UFO enthusiasts. Cropped went on to win best-comedy at the BAFTA recognised festival 'The Smalls' in addition to screening across many other international festivals such as the London Short Film Festival, Berlinale and the Aesthetica film festival. Chris followed up with the award-winning 'Land of Steel' and his most recent short 'Let's Roll' that premiered at the BFI International Film Festival.
