Director
Niamh Bryson
Niamh’s career kicked off on the set of Ridley Scott’s The Last Duel, fresh out of DIT Film School. While assisting, she seized every chance to direct music videos, collaborating with Sprints, KhakiKid and Toucan. Her spec commercial for Pellador won Best Spec Commercial at the 2024 Emerging Director Awards, launching her into commercial work for Guinness, AIB, Threshold, and Sennheiser. Her debut short Trasna Na Líne, a mockumentary comedy funded by Virgin Media Discovers, won the 2025 Sue Bruce-Smith Best Irish Short Award at DIFF and is now being developed into a web series with Vico Films. Niamh is drawn to blending humour, style, and nostalgia to explore the messiness of human relationships. Her work pairs a rose-tinted, romantic lens with raw emotion, rich in colour and and always with a playful edge.
